Ralph's Bio:

I grew up in the Amish country of Lancaster County, in SE Pennsylvania.  Seeing how hard the Amish worked in their fields without the aid of machinery instilled in me the will to work hard with a great deal of determination.  I also developed a strong sense of customer service and a desire to do the job right every time.

After High School I enrolled at Penn State and graduated with an AA degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.  I was eager to begin my professional working career so I began with a large architect engineering firm in the Nuclear Power field.  I progressed on to the automation and controls industry working for firms such as Honeywell, Yokogawa of America and Foxboro.  My work ethic served me well as I held positions of increasing responsibility over the span of 29 years from Technician to Project Engineer to Project Manager to Operations Manager to Sales Consultant.  I also earned a Business Management BA degree along the way while working full time and going to college at night.

The love of Arizona and our beautiful landscape and climate motivated me to relocate here permanently with a desire for a new career.  My wife, Sandy, and I grew to love Real Estate after having relocated 6 times during my previous career and having bought and sold homes about a dozen times in several states; Pa.,Az., Ga., and Tx.  We also own real estate for investment purposes.  So I began my Real Estate career by mentoring with my friend and associate, Mike Bodeen, at Realty Executives.  I progressed through the Executive Launch program and I am currently a member of the National Association of Realtors,

( NAR), and the Scottsdale Association of Realtors, (SAR) and have been certified as an e-PRO.  Sandy is also my assistant and Staging and Decoration Consultant.

I’ve found that my work ethic and construction project management expertise has served me well in Real Estate.  In fact, it has helped me tremendously and has enhanced my expertise as an agent.  I’m having a lot more “fun” and serving my clients with higher levels of customer service and satisfaction.
